"Twoface, please, for your sake you have to keep moving! Even if you can't be deputy, you can be strong and healthy for our kits, and maybe you can learn to hunt!" She buried her face info his side. "And at least do it for me, Twoface." She lifted her head and kissed his neck.

His ear flicked, "How can I get back to full health when I can barely see, can only use three legs and I only have one ear, I'll never be back to full health!" He growled lightly, his normal serious demenor diminishing, "Soon enough I'm just going to be dead weight for the clan" He said.

She growled angrily. "What would it take to get you to be motivated again, like the tom I know you are? Maybe you can't fix your vision or your legs, but you can adjust, you can strengthen your good legs, and you can pull your weight by providing and raising kits!" Her voice rose in a crescendo as she spoke.

He gave a low growl, "Your ashamed of how I've turned out, I can hear it in your voice" He snapped, his ear pinned back, "I can sense it, all you want is a strong tom who isn't mangled like I am, am I right!?" He growled, "I've changed, I cant be what I once was, you just don't want to be mates with a tom who was nearly killed, that cant do anything anymore!" He hissed.

Losing her control, she lashed her claws along his cheek, feeling his blood spatter her face. "Are you fucking kidding me?" she screamed, "I've always wanted to be mates with you. But I screwed it up, and I'm trying to fix it, but how can I when I'm working with a tom who's motivation is equivalent to a pile of fox shit!"

He lost his balance when he felt her claws along his cheek and he tried to step out of the way, he hit the ground, landing on a rock and he winced, "I would have been happy retiring to the elders den, but your making me do more work than I can!" He snapped, struggling to stand, once he did he panted, "I'll save you the trouble" He hissed, beginning to limp farther away from camp, heading toward twoleg territory.

Fireblaze stopped in her tracks, staring at the tom. "Your just going to leave? Just like that? You promised you'd stay for the kits, you've made a vow to the clan," she curled her lips in disgust at the tiring tom, "and now you're probably too tired to get anywhere. I suppose you're expecting me to help you now."
