Scout walked alone through the forest, Blu's upwalkers had taken him somewhere alone in a monster, leaving Scout to entertain himself until the tom returned.  Shuddering in his blue-green collar, causing the metal tags to jingle together, he thought of all the amazing sex they'd had, and how they'd almost certainly go at it again when he retutned.

Cedarleaf sighed, laying in a Bush, what could she have done? Could she have stopped it? Probably not, her mother was a stubborn she-cat after all, "Why did she have to do this..." The she-cat cried softly, "I really could use mother's help right about now.." She murmured to herself, poking her head out of the bush and jolting as she saw a tom walking by, she could see his collar and she hissed softly, her ears back, "You shouldn't be here kittypet" She growled, her body hidden in the bush.

Scout jumped backwards when one of the bushes talked to him.  Recognizing one of the dialects of the local clan cats, he pinned his ears back.  "I-I'm sorry, ma'am."  He stepped away a little bit.  He finally spotted the cat's head peering out of one of the bushes and detected a note of sadness in her voice.

"Typical kittypet, they are always scared of clan cats" She huffed, walking from the bush, it was clear she was going to have kits by the size of her stomach, "Even if the clan cat cant fight herself" She grunted, "Be glad I'm giving you the chance to leave without calling the patrol for this area" She hissed, forcing a strict tone over her saddened tone.

"Well, I am, of course, but… is something the matter?"  Scout asked with concern in his mew, noting the she-cat's pregnancy.  "You seem really down.  Let me help."  He offered.

Her ears pinned back and she stepped back, "Its nothing, dealt with it moons ago" She muttered, turning her gaze away from him for a second.

"No, please."  Scout insisted, taking a single step towards her.  "I'll hear you out, then leave.  You'll never see me again.  Whatever you say will stay between us."

She gave a small hiss and stepped back as he stepped forward, her tail lashing, "It isn't of your concern kittypet" She growled, looking around without moving her head to find a means of escape from the tom.

"Fine."  Scout sat down in place, showing he didn't intend on advancing any further, nor would he leave.  "Then you'd best call that patrol."

Her ears flicked and she watched him, "Why would you risk that? My clan enjoys torturing kittypets until they die" She stated flatly.

"I'm aware. Last time I met your cats, I was sold as a slave." Scout mewed, casting his glance down at the fround between his paws. "But I can't bear to see a queen in distress."

"It isn't even your problem... Why would you care? Besides not bearing to see a queen in distress" She huffed, her tail lashing.

"Because I've got an afternoon with nothing better to do." Scout replied sarcastically. "Now, come on, just let it out."

Her ears pinned back and she sighed, sitting a comfortable distance away, "My mother abandoned my clan a few moons ago to become a kittypet, it hasn't been good for my father and I" She mewed lightly.

Scout sighed, his ears pinned back.  "That's terrible."  He mewed, feeling nothing but empathy for the cat despite her earlier threats.  That's just the kind of cat he was.  "You know, that's really hard to swallow, but remember, you've still got plenty going for you."  He smiled gently.

"Well yes, but with my current situation, I'm not supposed to be a queen... This might not have happened if my mother hadn't of left..." She sighed, her ears drooped.

"What do you mean, 'shouldn't be?'  What's preventing you from having kits with the male you love?"  He asked, tilting his head to the side with his ears perked, looking somewhat cute.
