Squirrelflight seemed to be in immense pain, she tried to struggle away from the tom above her before she just let herself give up, she let her body fall limp as the tom pounded into her, her jaws open slightly and her torn up tongue hanging out, her weak tired eyes just staring in the direction her mate had been taken.

Brambleclaw awoke with a start in the forest swore he could hear moans out in the distance from where he must have just been dragged. Eyes narrowed, he began strutting in that direction.

Burnfoot snickered as he came deep within the she-cat and Larkpaw position herself so that her legs were open and Squirrelflight's muzzle was a mere inches away from it. "Lick it," he ordered her.

The she-cat felt too much pain for her to handle, she didn't move or respond to him, her tail had even stopped moving, the she-cat had lost so much blood from her tongue that it was weakening her as well.

Brambleclaw turned to corner to see a Shadowclan tom on top of his mate, roughly pounding into her while a she-cat had Squirrelflight's head positioned in between her hind-legs. "No!" he yowled with rage and unsheathed his claws.

Squirrelflight was staring in his direction, but she could barely see him, her vision was hazy from blood loss.

Snarling, Brambleclaw hit Burnfoot off of his mate and chased him off angrily. Quickly, he went back to his mate and gently nudged his nose beneath her so she could easily slide onto his back. Gently, he began carrying her towards their territory, the shadowclan apprentice Larkpaw simply staring after them, not trying to to stop them.

Tiring from being attacked, he was forced to lay her down onto some soft moss he stumbled upon still far from camp, but safely deep within Thunderclan territory. Gently, he stroked her and began grooming her fur clean, murmuring softly to calm her.

She breathed hard and tried to get closer to him, she let her fear show and she managed to hide her face in his fur, weakly curling close to him.

Brambleclaw felt sympathy wash over him as he watched his mate cuddle close to him, and tried wrapping his leg around her to hold her close. Quietly he meowed, "Hey, there's no need to be afraid. You're safe now, got it?"

Running, he went to collect moss and dipped it into a cool pool of water, then made his way quickly back to his mate. Sitting by her, he gently ordered, "open your mouth and stick out your tongue."

Gingerly, he put the moss on her tongue, cleaning up the blood and trying to soothe her with the cold water. In an attempt to comfort her, he leaned his head forward once in a while to kiss her tongue.

After her tongue was cleaned, it was clear that the tom from the other clan had torn it up enough to the point where the she-cat could probably barely use it anymore or would just be in pain from it all the time.

Once he had finished administering her wounds, he looked at her and saw the terrible state her tongue had been put into. He nudged her head so that she was looking at him and smiled at her. "Hey, beautiful, how are you feeling?" Spontaneously, he lifted a paw and tried tickling her sides to cheer her up.
