He squeezed her hand gently, looking out and he frowned, "Back into the cave, the trapping mermaids are near" He growled lightly and gently pushed her.

He frowned and followed her, clicking for the dolphins to lead the mermaids away.

She got inside the cave and frowned, looking worried. "What are trapping mermaids?"

He stayed between her and the entrance, "Mermaids that are trained to capture mermen, then go find their families and bring them in too, that's how I was captured anyway" He sighed, everyone that saw the merpeople in captivity had been told they were bred into captivity, not captured.
