She slept peacefully for the rest of the night.

Poppy stayed in the room and she found the tv remote, she tilted her head and pressed a few buttons, turning the tv on.

She groaned, beginning to wake up.

Poppy was directly in front of the tv, staring at it, she had never seen one and it amazed her.

[Silver]

She woke up, yawning, and smiled, seeing Poppy.

Poppy changed the channel to a horror movie unknowingly, her tail wagged as she watched the first few minutes, then as a jump scare came she yelped and scrambled away, cowering in a corner.

She walked over, holding Poppy and soothing her.

Poppy whimpered and clung to her, flinching when she heard a scream from the tv, the experiment hissed at the tv and whined.

She stroked Poppy's hair and changed the channel, carrying her back to bed.

Poppy stared at the tv, watching the new calmer show that was on, her head tilted and her ears perked, her tail wagging as she watched.

She smiled, stroking Poppy's thigh.

Poppy could barely take her wide eyes off the tv, she was never shown moving pictures, only still pictures, she purred loudly and her ears flicked as she continued watching.

She smiled, kissing Poppy's chin.

Poppy glanced over for a second before looking back to the tv, her tail continued to wag and she purred, her ears eventually drooped and she gave a whimper, just now noticing the kids on the tv could talk, but she couldn't.

She frowned. "You want to talk?"

She looked over and whined, giving a nod, she understood English, though she couldn't speak it.

[Silver]

She walked to the cupboard and pulled out a few reading books for school. "I used to teach English." she said, smiling softly.

Poppy tilted her head, her ears perked and she listened.

[Silver]

She took about two weeks to fully teach Poppy English, including her name.

Poppy now knew how to speak, which she did a lot, "Are we going outside today?" Poppy called, she couldn't go outside much because of her ears and tail, but sometimes it was a possibility.

[Silver]

She nodded. "Since this is a private lake, of course." she said, holding Poppy's hand. She gave Poppy a bathing suit of her's incase she wanted to swim.

"Yahoo!" Poppy laughed and walked with her, her ears were perked and her tail wagging.

[Silver]

She smiled, kissing Poppy's cheek. "Follow me, love. You know how to swim, no?"

She shrugged, "I donno, maybe it'll come naturally" She said and gave a small laugh.

She smiled, helping Poppy into the water. "I'll help you if you want."
