Rose gave a soft sigh, walking along the beach behind her home, she had her own private part of the beach, so she could be out there as long as she wanted, whenever she wanted.

William sighed, sitting at his desk at work, going through paperwork again, "Why cant Summer do this for once" He grumbled.

Roberto swam through the water gracefully, looking around.

Another news report came onto the television in William and Summer's office. "Ah yes, and now to breaking news. Our mysterious hero, called Clockwork, is at it again, saving people. A gunman had broken into an elementary school, but luckily, this masked young lady got there in time."

Rose laid on the hot sand and she breathed in the welcoming ocean air, she hadn't been told of the old fishing nets layered through the water.

Will groaned, throwing his coffee cup at the tv, "Damn it! Summer why are you never around when this happens!" He yelled.

Roberto looked around, the merman's tail flowing behind him.

Summer suddenly ran into the office, then stopped and tapped her hat before he saw, it quickly disappeared.

She yawned and eventually fell asleep on the sand, snoring cutely.

"When the fuck are we ever going to clear this case!? Would someone make me another damn coffee!? And get ahold of Summer!" Will was pacing the office and yelling at everyone, yet again.

He came closer, seeing a human girl on the sand, only to get entangled in the fishing ropes. He went up to the surface, yelling out for help.

She rolled her eyes, grabbing a coffee and shoving at him. "Will, just calm the fuck down! You're so obsessed with this case that you're treating everyone else like shit!" she snapped.

She jerked up, hearing a voice, she looked out to the water, seeing someone, she stood and slowly walked to the shallows, once the water was at her shoulders, she whimpered slightly, the girl was nervous in water, but she kept going, swimming towards him.

"Oh look who finally decided to show up!" He snapped back, taking the coffee, "This case has been going on for too long and I'm fed up with it" He growled.

He saw her and got nervous, but really needed help.

She growled. "You know what, I'm done. You're such a shitty co-worker. I'm quitting the mission and case." she snapped. She was a CIA agent sent to try out the FBI for a little while.

She whimpered when she couldn't feel the sand below her, she was about to panic, but she pushed it back, trying to free him.

"Go for it, I'm to report to your supervisors today anyway" he grunted, walking back to his desk.

He got free, sighing in relief, and saw that she was uncomfortable. She was about to slip under and he caught her, holding her gently. "T-Thank you..."

She growled and dropped his coffee, slamming the door behind her.

Rose yelped and clung to him, shaking slightly, just giving a small nod in response, she hid her face in the crook of his neck, trying to calm herself.

She changed into her outfit and disappeared down an alley, then flew off.

She shook and gave a whimper, "I-I'm not good in water when I cant touch the bottom..." She stuttered out.

Will eventually fell asleep at his desk, as usual, and his papers stuck to his face again.

Summer had usually been there to pull the papers off and make him comfortable, then kiss his forehead without him knowing and walk home each night. She wasn't there anymore.

A few others from the office tried convincing her to come back, "He's always an ass, no point in trying to change him" One said.

They eventually gave up, Will still sleeping in his office.

"Well I felt like I should have.. I didnt even know those were there" She sighed, still clinging to him.

"Well I'm stressed!" He snapped, "My job is on the line now! I need to finish this case!" He sighed, his hands shaking slightly, his pay cheque always went to his younger sister, who was dying in hospital.

He shook his head, still holding her. He heard a noise and then sighed, managing to swim her to shore before revealing himself. "See you around. Thanks again." he said before disappearing into the waves.

Summer sat around in her apartment, thinking to herself.

Will sighed, texting Summer, Look, I'm sorry alright, I'm just stressed but I shouldnt have taken it out on anyone He texted her, laying his head on his desk.
